My Triumph Trident 800

This is my first motorbike. I'd been curious about riding for a while, but the thing that finally got me to do it was that my girlfriend rides too, so getting a bike of my own meant we could go out on rides together instead of always taking the car.

I looked at a few different models before deciding. In the end I went with the Triumph Trident 800. I liked the way it looks, and I wanted something powerful enough not to be boring, but not expensive enough so that I would be afraid of dropping it all the time.

So far I've been using it mostly for weekend rides and touring. At the moment of this writing (July 16th 2026) I just finished the break-in period and I have an appointment to take it back to the dealer for the post break-in service.

These are some photos of the bike.

Note on AI usage

I don't use AI to write blog posts or articles for me. However, I do use it in order to fix my grammar and spelling mistakes. Please understand that English is my 3rd language, so my writing is pretty pathetic.

My writing process involves writing the first draft fully by myself (sometimes including words or sentences in Catalan or Spanish if I don't know the right English expression), then I get it checked by an AI, then I review the revised draft and fix weird words or expressions before posting the final text.

I also use AI tools to generate generic illustrations for my blog posts and articles, in order to provide some visual eyecandy instead of hard walls of text.
