Lotus Emira touring around Yamanashi, Nagano and Gunma (May 2026)

On May 23rd and 24th (2026) a group of us went on a weekend driving trip with our Lotus Emiras, from Yamanashi up into the mountains of Nagano and over into Gunma, with an overnight stop in Kusatsu. We drove through Shiga Kogen and over Shibu Toge, the highest point of any national route in Japan, where there was still snow even in late May.

I wrote a full report of the trip on the blog. This gallery contains all the photos: the ones in the post, and the ones I left out so it wouldn't get too crowded.

Note on AI usage

I don't use AI to write blog posts or articles for me. However, I do use it in order to fix my grammar and spelling mistakes. Please understand that English is my 3rd language, so my writing is pretty pathetic.

My writing process involves writing the first draft fully by myself (sometimes including words or sentences in Catalan or Spanish if I don't know the right English expression), then I get it checked by an AI, then I review the revised draft and fix weird words or expressions before posting the final text.

I also use AI tools to generate generic illustrations for my blog posts and articles, in order to provide some visual eyecandy instead of hard walls of text.
