Montpellier (August 2025)
August 2025. Marie and I spent a few days in Montpellier as part of a two-week trip around France.
In August 2025 I went to France for a couple of weeks to visit my girlfriend Marie. We spent the first few days in Paris, then a few more in Montpellier, down in the south, and the rest of the time in Saint Bonnet le Froid, the small mountain village where she works.
Montpellier is a city in the south of France, a short distance from the Mediterranean coast. It has a beautiful historic center full of narrow streets and small squares, and it reminded me a lot of the towns in the coast of Catalonia where I used to spend the summers with my grandparents when I was growing up.
